Divisions.
-
Exploration and geology
Geological mapping, pitting, trenching and channel sampling, with samples sent for third party assay. Each prospect produces a written resource note covering grade, indicative tonnage and the mining method the deposit suits.
-
Mining and extraction
Open pit extraction using excavators, loaders and tippers, with drilling and controlled blasting where the rock requires it. Narrow steep veins are worked by small scale underground methods with supported ground and forced ventilation. Each pit runs to a bench plan, a dewatering plan and a rehabilitation plan.
-
Processing and grading
Run of mine material is crushed, washed, screened and hand sorted at our yard. Gemstone and specimen material is separated early and handled by hand only. Ore is screened to size and graded on assay. Finished lots carry a lot number, weight, assay sheet and photograph record.
-
Trading, export and logistics
Quotation against a written specification, contract, packing to buyer requirement, export documentation, inland haulage and shipment. Terms available on FOB, CFR and CIF.
Plant and equipment.
Earthmoving, haulage and processing capacity is held in-house. Long haul trucking is contracted for port runs.
| Function | Equipment |
|---|---|
| Earthmoving | Excavators, wheel loaders, dozer support |
| Haulage | Tipper fleet, contracted long haul trucking |
| Crushing and screening | Jaw crusher and vibrating screen lines |
| Washing and sorting | Wash plant, sluice, hand sorting tables |
| Sample preparation | In-house preparation, third party assay |

Site standards.
Health and safety
Induction before first shift, daily hazard briefings, issued protective equipment, benched and inspected pit walls, licensed blasting only, and a first aid point with a trained responder at each site. Incidents and near misses are recorded and reviewed.
Environment
Rehabilitation planned before a pit is opened. Topsoil stripped and stored separately for replacement, silt and runoff controlled, haul road dust suppressed, and no mercury used in gold recovery.
Host communities
A community development agreement is signed with community leadership before work begins. Commitments cover local hiring, water supply, access road maintenance, school or health support and apprenticeship places.
- Local hiring first for unskilled and semi skilled site roles
- Borehole and water supply support in the immediate community
- Maintenance of access roads used by our trucks
- Apprenticeship places each year for young people from host communities
- Named community liaison officer and a written complaints procedure
- Titles, permits, royalties and environmental reporting kept current
Site visits.
Buyer and surveyor inspections at the yard or at loading are arranged through the commercial team.
